Ean Schultz is currently a senior undergraduate student studying Saxophone Performance/Jazz Studies at the University of Oregon. Before transferring to UO, Ean attended Ohio University for 2 years where he studied audio production. At UO, he has completed coursework in pedagogy, composition and arranging, improvisation, and audio production and recording techniques. Ean has been playing music on various instruments, including guitar and drums, for over 10 years–now specializing in saxophone, jazz improvisation, and composition over the last 4 years. He has performed and recorded with various local groups such as Hearing Loss, Bunk Doggers, Common Koi, and CGI Baby. He has also played with multiple student jazz combos and big bands through UO. Ean also currently teaches private lessons at the Pavilanis School of Music.
